Today's quote may not seem as very inspirational to everyone, but I have to disagree. I think we take for granted just what power telling someone that you love them can do. Of course, if your a robot just saying it for the sake of saying it how are you going to sound genuine.
When my husband and I did our marriage preparation the church asked us every week at the class to hold each others hands and look at each other in the eye and tell the other something you like or love about your partner. I remember one class my eyes started to water by something my now husband had said. I knew he loved me because he told me that many times before and he was marrying me. Though hearing him say I love you because.... really was so much different. Sadly, we do not do this anymore though I wonder why we ever stopped in the first place.
Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars — points of light and reason… And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.
