Childrens Book Review: When the Leaf Blew In

If you have not had the chance to read this book with a child, I definitely recommend getting yourself a copy of When the Leaf Blew In by Steve Metzer.  It is a fun book that teaches the children about cause and effect.  The book starts off with a cow who sneezes because a leaf blew into its barn.  You then follow through the book and realize that one thing leads to another.  The pictures in the book are fun and colourful.   

When the Leaf Blew In is great for preschoolers and JK/SK students.  The story will definitely hold their attention til the end!  Not to mention this is a favorite book of my 3 yr old right now!  This book is available at many different outlets for under $10.00 and if you are trying to cut down costs check out your local public library!
