 About the Author:

Jennifer Farwell has been writing since the day she picked up a navy blue Crayola as a toddler and began scribbling on her parents' freshly painted white walls. She's the author of SEVEN WEEKS TO FOREVER (her most recent novel), as well as ROCK STAR'S GIRL and its forthcoming sequel, HIDING OUT IN HOLLYWOOD (2015). When not writing novels, she can often be found at a Kundalini yoga class, cheering on the L.A. Kings during hockey season, or curled up with a good book. She grew up in Thunder Bay, Canada, and now lives in Los Angeles with her dog, Pico.



My Review:

Seven Week to Forever is the first book that I have read that has been written by Jennifer Farwell.  I do have to admit, upon receiving the book one thing that I loved even before reading it was that the author is from Canada!  I love finding new to me authors from the country I call home.  However, that aside no matter where the author comes from I want to be able to put my feet up and enjoy the book from start to finish!  This was most definitely the case with this book.

Seven Weeks to Forever is a YA novel and the content of the book is well written and thoroughly entertaining that one does not need to be a Youth to enjoy the book.  After reading the synopsis of the book I knew once starting it that the main character only had seven weeks left on Earth.  I kept thinking about that as I read, knowing her end was near and wanting to see how she would manage knowing this.  I personally could not imagine what it would be like to have a mission the last weeks of my life and that mission could have dire consequences should one fail.

Once starting the book I could not put it down!  I loved how the story flowed and the twist and turns within the book.  The main characters in Seven Weeks to Forever were easy to adore as well.  The relationship that develops between Cassidy and Riley is one that many would want their first true love to be.  It is as though the two completed one another and brought out the best in each other unexpectedly.  I can not recommend this book enough and look forward to future works by Jennifer!
