My  Review:  Eight hours.  That is the time it took me to read this book.  I did it in on sitting in one day.  I am fast reader but when I am captivated by a story I seem to get so engulfed in the story that chapters fly by.  There were many twists and turns and funny wedding events that took place in this story but the underline was the love story of the heroine Elliot and her lost love with Eric.  One of the things I enjoyed most was the small quips of humour strategically put between emotional moments to lighten the feelings for the readers.  I also found myself highlighting a lot.  Ironically it was the marriage sayings and quotes at the beginning of each chapter.  I am lucky to have been married to my other half when I was very young and don't regret a thing since.  I know how out of the normal realm of statics this is now days but have my lucky stars to thank.  I think if Elliot were a real person she is just the type of person I would call a friend and who would fit in with my group.  She is witty when she wants to be but knows how to hold on to her professionalism when the time calls for it.  Laura was able to create such a realistic and believable story one might wonder if it is more based on a true story than a novel.  Well done Laura!  This is my first book reading of Laura's and I give this book a strong 5 out of 5 mark.
