Review:
We’re all stronger than we think. This is quite a powerful statement and one that I have heard from many different people in many different ways over the years. A previous job I remember talking to my supervisor and her telling me her story of her mother. Her mother had been terminally ill with Cancer. Her mother was no longer married anymore, so she had appointed her daughter to be the one who would decide all the important decisions about her health and well being at times her she could not. I remember thinking how strong she must be to be able to handle all these decisions and I had said I did not think I would be able to handle it. She had told me that if I was put into the situation I would surprise myself with how strong I actually am.
Compared to many of the stories in this book I can honestly say I have not had any huge challenges, but I have been through many challenges that at the time seemed very large. The stories within these pages were very inspirational and a great reminder that even during the hardest times to try to stay positive as it will always get better!
