My Review of the Book:

I know I have mentioned before how important a cover is!  There doesn't have to be a lot going on to grab ones attention, but the fact remains it has to have something special.  This cover did it for me.  It is so simple yet the colouring on it brought me in and although I has never heard of the author before it was because of the cover of this book that I added it to my next read.

Kerry Proffit is a strong and fascinating main character.  I have to say so far among all the characters in the book she was by far my favorite.  She has a hard and challenging life and it shows to not get any easier the older that she gets.  Although she does not let the negativity in her life get her down, if anything it only makes her stronger.  This is an important message for everyone, but especially for Young Adults as any of us who have been through high school we know how many ups and downs there were during those few years!

I am looking forward to reading Volume 2 in the Dark Vengeance and seeing what other trouble Kerry and her friends can find themselves in!
