I had been at the water park on a hot sunny afternoon with my two girls. We had met some other moms and their little ones who were the age of my eldest daughter so she was having fun and running around in the water. The water park was very busy that day of course as the kids were still out of school for the summer. Plus this park recently had done some renovations and everyone was going out to check up new updates of the park.
The spray pad was a decent size and they had built the play park joined to it so the children can go back and forth between the water park and the slides and swing, you name it. Thanks to the wonders of pretend turf the children loved it and the parents as it makes no mess like sand does! Before we headed out I made sure the girls had their brightest bathing suits I owed on and made sure they wore their hats while playing in the water park. I did whatever was possible to make them stand out. Although their bathing suits did stick out with all these little bodies running around it was so difficult to keep track of them and of course they both wanted to go different ways after a while.
There were 3 moms, including myself, I was watching my two year old play with this water wall, her sister was playing with her friends (which the other two parents I was with were theirs) and somehow within 30 seconds the children disappeared. With all the chaos of the children somehow 3 parents could not see their children anymore. Of course what most if not all parents would do we panicked. I grabbed my youngest and we went searching for them. How hard was it going to be to find 3 four year olds playing together and mine was in a neon orange bikini.
Well its not as easy as you would think especially when they were found no longer together anymore. They all decided to leave the water park and go play on the park that is adjoined to it, but they did not want to play on the same toys there so they separated. The saying that it can happen in a blink of an eye is true for us. We had more then one set of eyes watching our kids, but there were more children then parents so among all the chaos the kids got away.
This is where The Vital Id wristbands would have came in handy for us all. Of course no parent wants or intentionally tries to "loose" their child, but they do have minds of their own. Though these bands are a great piece of added security that all parents would love to have for their children! Luckily we found them right away after running around frantically, but if someone else had found them if they had strayed farther, these bands would have helped dramatically!
You may remember I mentioned earlier that I received these in the fall. So I can say without a doubt they are made durable for your children and will definitely stand the test of time! I have had many months to test and try them out! There are so many colour options there will definitely be one that suits every child's personality and is also fully adjustable so it can grow along with your child!
I am assuming my children are just like everyone's and having something water proof is a definite selling point for me, which these bands are. They are suitable to swimming pools and oceans! No need to worry about having to take these off before you head into the water. I am happy to say this is one last thing to worry about, as parents we always to seem to have more than enough too. These bands fit children from ages 3-9 years of are and fit a wrist circumference of 5-6 inches and are also LATEX FREE! All this for a great price of $11.99. This is a perfect gift for those little ones in your life, who doesn't want to help keep them protected!
