The Pirate Fairy Available on Blu-ray Combo Pack on April 1st

From the world of “Peter Pan” comes “The Pirate Fairy,” a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities. When Zarina’s wild ideas get her into trouble, she flees Pixie Hollow and joins forces with the scheming pirates of Skull Rock, who make her captain of their ship. Tinker Bell (voice of Mae Whitman) and her friends must embark on an epic adventure to find Zarina, and together they go sword-to-sword with the band of pirates led by a cabin boy named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), who’ll soon be known as Captain Hook himself. Princesses and fairies are big in our house.  While I was at work the other day I happened to come across a book that was all about Zarina the Pirate Fairy.  My girls were so excited to read all about her and the first thing that they asked after reading the book was "Mommy, when can we watch the movie".  I received our review copy and kept it as a surprise and they were so excited to watch it.  They were mesmerized from start to finish and it even had my husband paying attention.  Fairy Gary was a favorite of his, he definitely is not your traditional fairy and definitely the father figure for the young fairies!  As for myself, Tink has always been mine, but I believe Zarina is definitely a close second!  My girls love them all and will tell you a different fairy depending on the day or the mood they are in.

Bring The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition Home

The Little Mermaid has also been a hit in my house.  I remember when I was younger it was my mothers favorite Disney movie.  I honestly do not remember how many times I watched it.  Another thing that I love is the combo packs.  For our family it is the best of two worlds as we have both Blu Ray and DVD players so we can always ensure we have a disc no matter where we go and the best picture!!

Ariel is a big hit for my little princesses!  They love the music in the show just as much as they love Ariel herself.  I love the spontaneous dancing that occurs whenever we watch the movie!

Never watched The Little Mermaid??  No need to fret!

Ariel (voiced by Jodi Benson), is a free-spirited mermaid, who is off on the adventure of a lifetime with her best friend, the adorable Flounder (voiced by Jason Marin), and the reggae-singing Caribbean crab Sebastian (voiced by Samuel E. Wright) at her side. But it will take all of her courage and determination to make her dreams come true—and save her father’s beloved kingdom from the sneaky sea witch Ursula (voiced by Pat Carroll).
